Když přijel před rokem a půl ze Švédska domů, moc radosti neměl. Z Pixba se radši vrátil a za nový cíl si dal návrat Chodova do boje o titul. Loni to skončilo fiaskem, tým z Jižního Města skončil už ve čtvrtfinále. V letošní sezoně se ale Dóža zase usmívá.
Jaké jsou bezprostřední pocity, když jste Brno smetli 4:0 na zápasy?
„Ten pocit je suprovej. Hlavně to začínalo už ve chvíli, kdy jsme minulý rok byli neúspěšní. Už týden po sezoně jsme začali řešit, jak jít do toho. Prostě jít zápas od zápasu a dojít až sem. Povedlo se to.“
V čem je tedy letošní Chodov jiný? Co nového nastalo?
„Loni jsme vypadli brzo, to se stane. Když jsem přišel, bylo to ve fázi, kdy na velké změny nebylo moc času. Letos jsme to postavili už od začátku a těch variant jsme měli připravených strašně moc. Jakmile začal někdo dobře hrát na naši silnou lajnu, tak jsme válcovali dvěma pětkama. A nakonec se nám rozehrála i třetí lajna, která odehrála i velkou část semifinále.“

Brno jste přejeli hodně rychle, po čtyřech zápasech byl konec. Nebojíte se teď 14denní pauzy, abyste nevypadli z rytmu?
„To není o tom, že bychom byli v nějakém laufu. My celý rok podáváme vyrovnané výkony a výsledky, ten bodový rekord v základní části se neudělá náhodou. Myslím, že jsme relativně hladce prošli i do finále. A těch 14 dnů je pro nás asi i dobře, protože si spravíme všechny ty šrámy a bolístky, které máme, a dobře se na finále připravíme.“
Teď už můžete sledovat budoucího soupeře. Koho byste si přáli, pokud byste měli vybírat.
„Já osobně bych chtěl asi Boleslav. Ani ne proto, že bych proti nim chtěl hrát, ale za to, že ta jejich organizace dobře pracuje. Bylo by to i zajímavý, kdyby si to rozdaly týmy, které ještě titul nemají, to ten florbal posouvá dál. Chodov a Boleslav jsou momentálně organizace, co pracují nejlíp, ať už s mládeží nebo s A týmem a i ta prezentace pro veřejnost je velmi dobrá.“

Ač nejsem moc zastáncem toho, aby se síla týmu vytvořila z drtivé části přestupovou politikou a z tohoto pohledu jsou mi tedy sympatičtější Vítkovice(které dlouhodobě těží z práce s mládeží a první tým staví hlavně na odchovancích), tak souhlasím, že je pro diváka zajímavé aby extraligu konečně také vyhrál někdo jiný než Tatran a Vítkovice. Proto bych tohle složení finále také klidně bral, i když proti Vítkovicím vůbec nic nemám, spíše naopak

Rozumím jak to myslíš, nicméně pořád jsou to spíše hráči z regionu, kteří přišli už v mládežnických kategoriích. To že velký klub sbírá do mládežnických kategorií talentované hráče z regionu to mi přijde celkem přirozené a když někdo přijde třeba ve starších žácích tak už to beru v podstatě jako odchovance, i když odmala vyrostl jinde, to je mi jasné že to tak dělají i Vítkovice, pořád ale toho hráče udrží u florbalu a zapracují do dospělého týmu, to jim zase nikdo upřít nemůže a taky je to záslužné. Já měl na mysli spíše přestupy hotových dospělých hráčů – viz Jelínek, Kološ atd. Já to bral takhle, ono postavit ten tým zase jen z hráčů, kteří v klubu vyrostli vyloženě odmala, to by bylo asi velmi těžké a zřejmě to na tak velké úrovni ani nejde, zas tak růžově jsem to samozřejmě neviděl;-)
